Q: What inspired you to start writing?
My life suffered steep ups and downs, twists and turns. These experiences forced me to introspect. The conclusion was eye-opening. Self-respect stands above goody-goody behavior. Setting boundaries and the ability to say a polite but firm "no" are very important for living a peaceful life.

Q: Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
"Unblocking your potential" is my latest ebook. It is available on Kindle. It tells readers how total health forms the foundation of life. It provides easy-to-follow, valuable tips for maintaining physical and mental health.

Q: How do you create your characters?
The characters of my book are me as a mentor and the reader as audience.

Q: What does your typical writing day look like?
I start writing immediately when an idea strikes. Typically, I reserve my first two morning hours for reading and the afternoon for writing. I write down my thoughts as they come without considering sentence formation, sequence, etc. Once I finish, I keep it down and take a break. Once I am relaxed, I start overviewing the draft and making modifications.

The best part is reaching my targeted audience.

Q: What’s one challenge you’ve faced in your writing journey?
Initially, I wrote about topics of interest. Afterward, I found that my articles received a poor response. Then it occurred to me that writing is not for myself. It is for the readers. Hence, what they are interested in is important. Reading about how to write also enabled me to format my writing. Problem, root cause and solution is now my format.

I use AI tools, ChatGPT and Gemini, for more references and sentence formatting.

Q: What advice would you give to new or aspiring indie authors?
Understand areas of your knowledge and interest. Explore the subjects of readers' interests. Choose the best subject. Understanding the likes of your targeted audience is most important. Finally, give your articles and books maximum visibility.

Q: How do you handle book promotion as an indie author?
I write promotional posts on social media like Facebook and LinkedIn. I also use platforms like Substack and Beehiiv.
